The next small step

A short novel depicting the stay at the habitat for the first humans on Mars

The crew arrives at Mars and finds the habitat waiting for them. Printed and almost ready to move into
Cutout showing the airlock where the crew entered the habitat. The first room to their right is the madical bay where they had put most of their supplies while Dylan inspected the rest of the habitat
Dylan is spending one evening watching his favorite team play. While the distance between the planets does not allow for real time interactions the satilites have the capacity to send large amounts of data, like a film or a recorded game
After a while everyday life starts to set in, and the crew spend more of their days doing “regular” work in the labs and workshops. Here we see Anna and David in the lab. Anna is experimenting in the fume-hood while David is analysing results at his computer.
