Concept model
The conceptual model is a topographic model of Tromsø with its surrounding fjords and mountains. The landscape has been burned to symbolize the events that shaped Northern Norway, and Kirsten Sand during the years after World War II. At the end of the war German troops withdrew from the border of Finland and Norway. They burned the towns and villages behind them, causing massive devastation to the local communities.
