The creative elegance of nature is an effect of stillness and liveliness as one – an equilibrium where different cycles of time coincide. Rhythms are dissolving into one another and boundaries are less palpable. Holding the presence of the eternal, it reaches beyond form.

Within a stream of messages, senses overflowing, beneath the visceral impact, are elemental components or a central point. Separating and re-arranging shapes and spaces, illustrating their essence in a new way, from which the design of a pavilion intuitively was drawn.

The pavilion is built of four materials – stone, sand, textile and metal. The black sand surrounding the pillars embodies a different stage of the life cycle of stone, together representing both stillness and passage.

Walking into the pavilion the outside life gets abstracted and a profound presence arises.
