The research for this thesis lead to a conclusion of 4 strategies for adaptable design, which, if incorporated in the design process, could lead to a more efficient use of pubic buildings over time. The found strategies are perceived to be most suited for the distinct context where a transformation of Artilleristallarna is in focus.
