The Garden Shed
Workshop and wetlands.
The Garden Shed is an oasis as well as a meeting place for the garden enthusiast. Here, those interested in gardening can face the future in the form of courses and workshops in gardening, cultivation and crafts. A place for knowledge, inspiration and for new communities to grow. The Garden Shed is a project to help both humans, wildlife, insects and birds to thrive.
Location
The chosen site for our project.
The chosen location of the building is located in the middle of Trädgårdsföreningen. On the edge of the already existing buildings. We believe in this location mainly to create an interaction between The Garden Shed and the nearby buildings. By proposing perennial fields, wetland and woodland instead of the already existing lawn we could show sustainable ways of activating urban areas for biodiversity.
