mapping bricks
The beauty of handmade bricks is the unique identity of it. Bricks shifting in its colour and have a tactile structure, showing the traces from the past.

sketch of the brick
To capture the tactile of the bricks, I placed a paper on the brick and tracing the structure. The sketch telling a story about something we cannot see by our eyes but feel with our hands.

adding altitudelines
The bricks are all unique and the damage and traces of the brick are exposed. The holes in the brick creates a landscape. It gave me a deeper understanding of the shape by adding the altitude lines. Using this method makes it possible to transform it into a drawing.
