Pavilion Stångehuvud
Exterior view

Arriving to Pavilion Stångehuvud – a building celebrating the past, present and future of the nature reserve of Stångehuvud. Exhibiting the historical, natural and cultural values encouraging visitors and locals to gather around the Vestiges of Stone.

The solid building volumes, inspired by discarded granite blocks left on site, are connected by a central entrance – glased on both sides creating views towards both the open sea and the granite wall behind.

The building is equipped with perforated window shutters, creating a protective yet dynamic layer contributing to the solid expression. Although when lit from inside creating a thin and textile-like vail, glimmering like the minerals of the granite.
