While planning and building the model, we had the opportunity to notice and enjoy the great qualities of the Kingohusene. The placement of each and every individual house unit is well thought through. Both considering topography, daylight, openness and privacy. Same goes for the smaller, individual unit scale. It feels like Utzon had a clear plan of how the project were to be experienced. All from when entering the neighbourhood, to making dinner in the kitchen, to hanging out in the garden. This is truly an inspirational example of seamless consideration and detailing of different types of scales.
