BUTTERFLY AREA
The entrance room is an added building on the roof which consists of the entrance hall with the spiral staircase, a greenhouse with a workshop room and a herb greenhouse. The butterfly pavilion is connecting the new building with the existing floor with the lecture hall and a fan room. An entrance has been added to the lecture hall to make the roof more accessible from within the building, and to connect the activities in the gathering hall with the roof. The lecture hall could for example be used as a meeting point for school classes visiting the butterfly pavilion and participating in workshops. The addition of the building is connected to the focus on knowledge and learning, where for example the activities in the library could be extended to the roof and vice versa.
